I didn't get much chance to stop anywhere pretty this time round (again). The truck's just too flippin' big to get (and stop) anywhere nice. Often I'll see a really spectacular scene while driving through the countryside but by the time I've found a safe place big enough to stop in I'm either surrounded by trees or gone round the wrong side of a hill.
The B/W shots are taken from an industrial estate in Kilkenny and the sunset ones are from the freight port here in Belfast (I'm waiting to get on the night boat back to Liverpool).
Those hills over the back of Belfast (what are they called? Help) are always good for a nice view. A few weeks ago there was cloud coming in from the west, behind the hills, and it started rolling over the edge like liquid nitrogen from a cryogenic vat. Pretty spectacular, but I was driving down the Motorway at the time. Typical.------

I think the hill just behind Belfast (to the North) is called Cave Hill. I once went to a great wedding there - an actor called John Keegan, lovely fella. Another thesp, Adrian Dunbar, sang a rousing version of Wild Mountain Thyme.

Cheers all, and tnx for the HL!

It's Ireland Taniwha, so "Under a blood red sky" seems appropriate.
;-)

Sounds nice A-angel, I think you may be right, it's that big old rock hanging over those posh houses.
And yes Paddington and Mr.Eeboy part of the Antrim hills (I Googled it)

Swamprose, yes it was so very, very green! So green in fact that I just had to turn it all Black/White and Red
(like a newspaper (black, white & re(a)d all over)
Sorry, I'll get me coat.
