This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Most of you already know about the unjust imprisonment of my friend Lucia.

Last night NOVA TV did this piece on her (select BEKIJK ITEM to watch it). It's about 10 minutes long and although some of it is in Dutch the experts all speak in English. What they say takes up about a third of the programme. It's well worth watching because they'll give you a good idea of what we're up against.

Joker and I have also worked on a translation to English of the front page of the campaign website here or this is a pdf file of the same translation.

If you haven't signed the petition already, please do so.

If you know any journalists please tell them about it too. She needs publicity. she really needs it and she needs it now.

JokerXL says:

Yes, I watched this with great interest last night and my jaw dropped, even after knowing all I know about Lucia's case through translating the website.
Grimbergen was back peddling like mad and Buruma virtually apologised!
If the commission's decision in the next few weeks isn't positive (for Lucia) then there is something very, very strange going on.
As if that weren't already the case.

Sign up guys & gals, read the stuff, watch the clips, tell everyone you know. This is a serious miscarriage of justice and MUST be rectified asp.

I know you did Maggie - saw your name way back - and thank you for doing so. After the programme last night I'm trying to persuade those who didn't to do so. It's also a big part of my life atm

It's a travesty of justice. I signed the petition a while back. I hope this gets an unprecedented amount of publicity and outrage is made known, loud and clear.
