Hi, I'm Rick also known as Mr. C. I used to shoot with a Canon SLR, but that was a long while back. I got a new camera, an Olympus SP-510UZ on 11/06/06. I've added a Nikon D90 with a 55-200 lens to my camera bag in 2010. I'll get a camphone if Almont ever enters the 21st century.

I'm now shooting with a brand new Nikon D90 with a 55-200mm VR lens.

These are great, Rick. When I was a little kid,my father had a 1948 Chevrolet which I remember fondly. I 'll have to see if I can find a few photos.

Thanks, Factotum. I'd love to see classic pics of your old family car, with people proudly showin' it off!

Yeah, me too, Mandy. The details just bring out the reasons for saving them, but it's sad I don't have the resources, skill or time to do it. Still, I have my dreams....

Thanks Dhamaka. Just my love for this old stuff coming out. I'm just lucky I can capture the moment with my camera.

C, the 6th shot is of that Plymouth showing it's rough side. Way cleaner and closer to a restoration than what I want to do with parts around here.

Hi, The Man! These fixer-uppers are better known as money pit headaches, but worth the migraine!

Hello Ookiine. All 5 of these old vehicles would be stunning restored. Thanks!

Rick says:

Thanks, Looker. That was when style mattered, not aerodynamics.

These are great. I use to have 1964 Belevedere with the push button gear shift.

Rick NLI says:

Thanks, Midlife. Did it have the red slider speedometer too? Those were seriously cool. I never drove one but knew a couple of guys who had them, the push button trannies.

These are wonderful Rick.
I'm going to come visit you guys, if only to get you to take me here!

Rick NLI says:

Thanks, JXL! There are fields of old cars all over the place. I'd be happy to show them to you. :)
