Last Friday, two Canadian mining companies, Jet Gold Corp. and Leeward Capital, announced they were suspending their operations in Burma and withdrawing from the Set Ga Done Gold Property because of "political instability and another company's inability to fund exploration".

the kids were wonderful.

I had to crop these madly because there were so many photographers in the way.

there were lots of bloggers. burmese and canadian. taking photos and videos with their phones. Proud to be bloggers.

I hope some of this international day makes its way into Burma.
