Nearing the crest of the hill (37). The partner of a voracious and far superior blogger (check my user profile for the link). Owner of a cat who wants to take over the world and move back to Dunstable (her home town), and owner of several goldfish that speak with cockney accents. Wanting to rant and grumble about this and that going on in the world. Wanting to post pics and vids from my mobile from time to time. I just want to be able to express an opinion on topics, if I have one, or maybe reveal a piece of "exciting" information about my life...whatever really.

Feel free to contact, leave comments, etc.

My new obsession.

I have faced a dilemma for many a year. It started long ago. Every Xmas my mum would make a Xmas fruit cake. As with all kids, I'd be offered the bowl to lick clean. I loved the mix and the fruity taste, but hated the fruit pieces and the cake once baked. I love the fruit flavour of fruit loaf. . .particularly toasted but hate the fruit pieces. Over recent years I have found I can tolerate raisins in things. I bought myself some cinnamon and raisin loaf and enjoyed that but HELL it was expensive! My S.O. took a trip to the local ASDA and found cinnamon and raisin bagels. These are my new obsession. I really love them. Finally I have found a fruity bread thing I love. I don't usually have anything to thank ASDA for, but for these, I thank them.
