Stopped Clocks is a public collaborative project which exists to first document all the stopped clocks in the UK, with the aim being to restore those we can to working order.

Anyone can help, so please send us any information on stopped clocks in your area and by all means post here at the blog.

Unless you're looking in a completely different direction, I think that's the Doncaster Plant Works, where the Mallard and the Flying Scotsmen were built (amongst many other locomotives). Last time I was there in 2003 it was owned by Wabtec and still a going concern, though obviously steam locomotives only go there for overhauls now, their main business is in more modern trains. So the clocks aren't stopped in any symbolic sense. :)

I myself am from Doncaster and I see this clock everyday and everynight on the way to and from work. I personally think it's an outrage it has been out for so long. I always think it's 20 to 12!!!! lol. Something needs to be done! Up the Rovers!

I agree Carter! I also am from Doncaster, and I can't take this clocks errors anymore! It's been out since 2007 and no one has even attempted to fix it. Disgraceful. Also Rovers to win League 1 12/13!
