This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Wow, nice! You must be having a calm day - it always seems to be too breezy for me to get that close, as I don't want to chance ruining a web.

Angel, Maggie, Chocolate and Silar thank you :)
Silar - I guess you must have been right. I didn't notice how calm it was at the time though
Nige - if you *must* see things from the wasp's perspective...

Ace series D!
So spiders are good for something?

13th Oct 2007, 18:11

OJ says:

Yummy. I can almost hear that wasp go crunch.

Lovely detail Dhamaka. You must have some great lenses to get a spider's leg hairs - presuming that spider isn't the size of my cat.

Euphro says:

An unambiguous answer to the question "Does anything eat wasps" :)

p.s. I think you will be interested in my reply to your comment here :)

Dhamaka says:

Euphro thank you and I am

OJ - thank you. I only have the one lens that came as part of the D80 kit but I'm very happy with it :) The spider's body is about 1 cm across and 1.8-2.2cm in length... so although he's not the size of your cat he's also not small

Joker - thank you too
