A call of nature

FBW is feeling better. She dragged us out for a 5 mile walk around Ledsham and Fairburn Ings. Although a wonderful reserve for water birdies my phone cam did not do them justice.

The woods were certainly handy for those needing to answer a call of nature.

Ferrybridge Power station, when travelling from the east or south, when you reach this, you know you're in West Yorkshire

glad to hear FBW is out and about. Love the shot of Ferrybridge - I grew up a couple of miles from there and my li'l bro worked there for quite a while. If I tell people I'm from Pontefract or Castleford they often don't know where it is, but mention Ferrybridge and most people know.

Glad FBW is on the mend, were the goats friendly? I've always wanted a goat- much better than a lawn mower.

twiggers - i did think about posing, but it was a bit nippy.

Poppet - the goats were lovely. you wouldn't have to do any weeking either

Mmmm, I must say that I have often thought of a goat as an alternative to a mower, however I was put off this idea by a friend of mine who had one and then lost a whole washing line of clothes because of their nibbling habits ....
