I'm now even more annoyed. Waited in all day Thursday and no sod turned up.
So I phoned Amazon, saying I'm not wasting any more of my life waiting for
someone to collect the book which originated from your cock up. The
inevitable happened - I was put on hold for 15 minutes. The supervisor was
too busy in the end. So I ended up getting no where, wasting money on a
phone call, which they said they wouldn't refund. By the time I'd calmed
down and was going to phone back, their call centre had closed!
So I've sent them an email basically saying, you created the problem, you
solve it without me needing to do anything, not even lift a muscle. Also
that if they didn't organise something within 72 hours, I'll assume they no
longer want the book back. After all I have a 42.00 GBP book of theirs, so you
would of thought they would do something.
Lets see what imaginative solution the tossers come up with...
