I thought it was skeins of wool at first. really wonderful texture. light. colour.
J'adore :-). What kind of tree is it from. Never seen colours like that
Glad you like it - those odd contours are what caught my attention.
Don't know what tree - was so struck by the detail I didn't look at the rest. Also had a very lively English Bull Terrier who definitely hadn't come for a nature walk. My best guess would be sycamore; you can get quite a range of colours when it renews its bark. We'll just have to hope Euphro stops by if y'all want anything more definitive...
Frog - Some of the green at least is just dry slime of some order...
