I cooked a modified version of April's Dad's mussel recipe last night and it was yummy.
1 clove of garlic
1 tin of tomatoes
Half a small chorizo sausage
half a glass of white wine
Some nice bread
Some French fries
Put French fries in the oven
Fry the onions and garlic in a pan then add the chorizo and the chopped chilli.
Fry for 2 more minutes before adding the wine, reduce.
Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil.
Add the mussels, stir in the source, add lid and give a good shake (making sure that the lid it held firmly on top).
Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While this is cooking carve some bread.
Remove French fries and serve.
