I'll let you open it early, if you promise not to tear the wrapping
paper. I'll use it again next year...

My oldest sister was ace at patiently peeling the tape off, peeking, and rewrapping. We'd occasionally resort to duct tape and shrinkwrapping for her presents.

If the paper on my presents was something I could work with, I'd fold little origami creature thank-yous for the giver....

Is anyone working on a Flash toy to make a little clickable punchout calendar? I'd work on it myself if I knew Flash and/or had the software....

(Do you remember the excitement every morning as kids? checking out the advent calendar the night before so you knew exactly where the next number was, there - hiding there behind the Robin, or one of the packages on Santa's sleigh?)

What a bunch of big kids we've all become.
Great stuff.

Been away this weekend so couldn't contribute much here but just wanted to thanks for the ackowledgements but say credit where credit is due.

Nige for mobilising mobloggers - he is the ko-ordination king!

Goode for getting a cool design up and running faster that you can say "it's christmaaaaas!"

Alfie & Mat for being tremendous sports and giving the project their full support (which has all kinds of implementation benefits... :)

Cyberpunkdreams for sorting out all the hosting transfering and domain management. Please yell a big hello to him and get him back to his moblog. He just hasn;t realised how great everyone is!

And all of you lot who signed up to contribute a pic. You didn't take a lot of asking and just took the mantle at such short notice.

It's simply amazing to get something involving so many people off the ground in less than 2 weeks. I should be way more stressed than i am thanks to everyone's goodwill.

FWIW I'll pat myself on the bat when i get the facebook app up and running!
