It's early for us. We don't usually get hit this early into December. It seems to have mostly stopped for the moment, and they're only calling for about 2" here.

we've got real winter here. and one of those days when the city falls silent, everyone stays home and eats. we've been told this is going to be one hell of a winter, and this is just the beginning. el nina's fault, this time. from the map I saw, the big apple is to be spared. still, having something special in the freezer for snow days is always good. I have a lemon tart.
