We've got a tree for the first time in years on acccount of the cats, mostly. It's... homely. A motley collection of stuff fairly randomly applied (even with three of us adults, trying to decorate before bath/bedtime was a strain) and no lights or breakables due to the various monsters (we've also set it up on a table to discourage pestering). Must teach the husband to put the pewter ornaments farther IN the tree...
Thanks. I just took a bunch more shots (with more light) but I notice now one of the light strings has gone out, so I need to pick up another one next time Im out and about. Pain in the ass to string it now that the ornaments are up, but I'll get it up there somehow.
I'm sure you will - meanwhile the shots above make me think about maybe decorating a tree of my own
I've never had a tree in my living room before. So this is all quite interesting. I'm pleased the cats honestly don't seem to give the remotest shit about the tree, though they're fascinated with the moving superman ornament near the bottom (which is how I noticed that light string was out- the superman stopped moving.)
