To anyone who has ever been owned by a cat, it will come as no
surprise that there are all sorts of things about your cat you will
never, as long as you live, forget. Not the least of these is the
first sight of him or her.

Puddikat says:

Aw, I'm so sorry, at least you had her for Christmas. I felt the same after Billie was put to sleep on the 27th of Dec '06. the loss is no less because she was a pet, in fact it is harder sometimes as the bad memories are so few. You are in my thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear about Tabby. I'll take Swamprose's advice and give all the pets an extra cuddle and something nice to eat. Rest in Peace, Tabby.

hildegard says:

Oh, d'oh, the anonymous "so sorry to hear it" was me.
Those moments of arriving ungreeted are horrid. Hadn't realised how very flat my homecomings had become without Arnold until Oscar arrived. Glad you've still got Beezer & Dido to keep up the necessary level of furriness about the place...

swamprose says:

Sorry to hear this. a long life and good farewell--I also miss a greeting.

Bec(beclobo-at-comcast-dot-net) says:

I'm so sorry. It is so hard to lose a pet. She looks like a sweet cat and reminds me of my cat Missy... they both have that same little black chin.
