indeed - to give you an idea, that top shot is usually only just covering the bottom of the riverbed - about 4-6inches of water, and the depth here is about 10 feet.

Well, thankfully the disruption wasn't *too* bad in the middle of town - things just slow down significantly
Leeds' transport authority (note, NOT first, who are an absolute shower of shambles) are really great at getting information collected and distributed to those signed up:

So when alerts come out people are pretty good at staggering the joyrneys home. Rather than just staggering home, which happens most of the time ;)
