I think it goes together very well ..... I have the same glass fronted school cabinet .... in fact I have two of them ... rescued from the skip outside our school .... they don't have the same arrangement of classy kitsch though :(

Great, Jule, I like this home-like office. but may I give you a suggestion: why don't you use a longer top (long as all the front balaustrade) supported by two or three drawers units? You will have a wider workspace and more room for temporary objects
