Welcome to The Moblog of Sir Findo Gask.
Unfortunately for you this is like a window in to my mind!
Pictures taken with my new Nokia N95 8GB. Others are taken with my Canon EOS 350D, which are copied off the card and sent from my PC
By deleting it, I suppose. This picture was taken from the driver's perspective on a public highway at speed. It seems very likely that Sir FG was driving when he took it. This is something that we don't want to encourage. As a mod, I'd recommend removing it, unless I can be reassured that Sir FG drives a left-hand drive vehicle, and was therefore a passenger, or that he was stopped.
yes, I'm in complete agreement with you, I just didn't think your first comment was forceful enough.
The picture was actually taken by my passenger on the way to a meeting this morning. I was travelling at the same speed as the vehicle in the image so the shot could be taken.
With 20 years experience of working in the transport and logistics industry for various organisations I think I know the law and what I can and cannot do, although this comes more under common sense than anything else.
I have removed the image anyway as the point of the post has been lost somewhat.....
And rest assured that I did not update this post while driving, although, I must admit I did roll my chair back to pick something up out of my filing tray about halfway through writing..
Oh yes, as has been discussed in the forum and on many a post the law isn't really why drive-blogging is so frowned upon by some (and me very much up there at the front) on moblog - it's the idiocy of it...
But! I'm glad to hear you weren't. hope this discussion hasn't dragged down the blog too much :)
How is boris doing?
Heh - for a moment I were reet impressed - clicked on the thumb & thought you'd done something quite nifty, possibly using some sort of mod wand. Then realised I was looking at a cached truck. F5 & voila! Borris.
And yes, how's he doing?
Seaneeboy, hildegard, the boy is ok, not right by any stretch but ok. He is off to see Dr Needle & Dr Scalpel on Friday which we are not looking forward too :(
We have both got the day off, so we will drop him off before 9am then go out somewhere for the day and pick him up on the way back,
Late to this, but just want to say I'll keep Borris in my thoughts on Friday. Poor little fellow. Hopefully the surgery will set him right!
