A 366-day pursuit in personal portraiture, presented by nige.

The challenge: to photograph, and post to this moblog, a portrait shot of myself, every single day, over the next year. Apparently, it's much harder than it sounds...

Perhaps more challenging: that i don't enjoy seeing my phizog in a photo at the best of times, and knowing that i'm probably going to annoy the hell out of the moblog community in doing this. So, sincere apologies in advance for this undertaking, but i just can't help myself. I promise to try and be creative, so you won't have to look at my mug every day.

Anyone interested in joining me? I think i'm probably going to need the company...

Is the Monster the bike?
If so that's really lousy. What's the chances of getting it back?
Would be better to go back to losing mobiles instead : (

nige says:

i know! haha. this had better not be the first in a long line of lost bikes...

the thing was parked right outside my front door, and i do mean right outside. got pinched overnight. i'd say the chances of getting it back are pretty slim, but who knows?

Jane Doe says:

Man, that sucks. May I suggest an extra long lanyard, attached to the bed post and the handlebars...

nige says:

i'm definitely getting an alarm for the next one, but unless it's physically chained to something they are pretty easy to carry off.

Jane Doe says:

I assumed you kept it in a lock-up - or your hall!
Look on the bright side, my uncle and grandad got badly beaten when they caught some little b'stards nicking off with his. Prob better you didn't wake up

10th Mar 2008, 17:43

nige says:

i did keep it in my hall 90% of time. you know, just in case i wanted to practice in my dressing gown in the middle of the night!

i have to say, i'm surprisingly not too the moment anyway...but it maybe it hasn't really sank in yet.

either way, GRRRRR!

OJ says:

Grr. That's not good.

We have a bike in the hall as we've had them nicked from the backyard, the back shed etc. etc. etc.
