I'm in Leeds. Where most of these pictures are taken, shockingly. They're all taken with my mobile phone (currently a HTC Hero); photos from different cameras go on flickr :)

@para: If you get a chance, the last weekend to go & see itis this one. They've opened it up for people to wander about at weekends. The pool has been drained and you can walk about the bottom of it, which is pretty wierd :)

& whoever the mod was who HL'd this? Thanks!

No chance of that Nalsa - an 800 mile round trip just to walk in a disused swimming pool just doesn't seem worth the effort really!

man that's a real shame. good pools are hard to find. i'm still cycling from central london out east to old street then back home to kilburn in the north west (about a 16 mile round trip) as i can't find another 30m pool anywhere between town and where i live. seems crazy in london but there you go.

Ah, but it's going to be replaced by an amazing mentalist building with a windmill on top. Or so I've heard.

Oh wow! And what a shame, though I'm sure the replacement will be good, an' all. But still.

Love the chairs in the pool - it's so shiny you can barely tell there's no water.
