What a gadget. It's so small, weighs next to nothing and costs less than £180. Seriously impressive.

these things are gonna be the future (at least in the short term) in my opinion. we have the technology now to build a proper computer, that is small enough to pocket (almost) and yet is still very affordable. These guys just brought it to the marketplace before everyone else. I love my ipod touch, I barely use it for music at all, it is a powerful mobile computing platform. But it lacks one very important thing...A proper keyboard...your Asus has just that, why should I stab at a tiny on screen keyboard when I can type at full speed, on one of these? and pay less for it...and have an open source OS.

consider me envious.

It is a plenty cool thing, but alas, currently not mine. I have it at work on loan, as we are developing a cabinet to store and recharge 30 of these little things at a time.

The Elonex ONE which runs on Linux and will retail at £99 is a fairly cool piece of kit too :)
