Yes, in the SE. Love the Lakes, my Dad's a Cumbrian : ) These instantly made me think of the jetty at Bowness...

gorgeous, and *clears throut* bassenthwaite is the only actual 'lake' in the whole lake district. All the rest are meres, waters etc.

Hi Jane, These were taken at Waterside In Ambleside, at the top end. On a freezing afternoon, but the results paid off thankfully. Thereby fully justifying "fish and chips" from "Vinegar Jones" in Bowness (see earlier post)
