Ouch! Wrap some clean tissue round it so that you can put pressure on it, keep it elevated with pressure on (above your head would be best) and keep it cold.

yeah, it's been ok whenever i've had a plaster over it - when i take it off it just starts up again though. i learned about raising your hand above your head back in scouts and nobody ever believes me that it works, but it does.

Oh nasty. I've done that before. Not for fun mind, by accident.
Hope the bleeding stopped eventually. They're really annoying cuts to heal, in an awkward place catching on everything...
