Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......
If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......
.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…
Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.
Utterly beautiful, Maggie.
So pleased you remembered to use your camera this time : )
Thanks Jane, and I am ashamed to say that I missed out on some stunning pics of mountain eagles because my camera was in the bottom of my rucksack :(
wow these shots are gorgeous Maggie!
The top one\'s HL worthy imo - and it\'s good to see you back. Missed you yesterday...
Sorry about the mountain eagles though
Gorgeous. Dunno why you don\'t post more photos Maggie, these are glorious.
(Congrats on the midge timing.)
Thanks peeps, and I have to say I think I am getting better at getting my camera out of my bag .... I have always taken holiday shots and pics of the children when they were young and pics on my travels and work overseas before I joined Moblog (loads of pics of Cambodia, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, China and India) .... I am just too lazy to do anything about those now ....
These are lovely Maggie, I hope you\'ll feel inspired to get that camera out more often.
That looks absolutely perfect Maggie!
What a place.
And you're right on the Christy Moore reference.
"Two island swans"
these really are gorgeous. already been said, i know, but worth saying again.
wow. there is snow in scotland?
get that camera out more often!
Thanks folks :)
..... and thanks Joker for giving me the title of the song, I have now listened to it on Youtube and it is spot on for the pic (getting sentimental in my old age)
SFG, stayed in a lovely hotel on a loch very close to Glencoe ... pics taken in and around that area .....
so good. Great sense of depth. The beauty here just reminds me that I really need to get that trip to Scotland organised.
Great series - I especially like the top shot, the reflections are wonderful
Fantastic shots, we\'ve had some good weather up here recently; April seems to be a good time for it! I\'m so not looking forward the the dreaded midges in a couple of months - they love me :(
Oh my goodness. These photos are so beautiful, they break the heart. :D
Thanks peeps, I know we were very very lucky with the weather (and lack of midges) ....
Rachel, they love me too! ... it is why I have been putting off a trip for so long .....
.... and yes, Billion, Yay for the Scottish Highlands in spring!
..... and Sheepy, get yourself out there in the fresh air, do some healthy hill walking and lose that EMO pallor .... the girlies will still love you with the weather beaten look ;)
These are gorgeous !
No distraction from your cartoons which never fail to raise a smile for me I would love to see you post more photos you have real talent !
I\'m sorry I missed these MaggieD, they are stunning. I just love the empty beaches - I was in Applecross exactly a year before you posted these pictures. A most excellent time to go.
The swan is my favourite - and the abstract stripes of the last one.
