It was lovely, if brief. You can't rely on the sun to shine on the Welsh coast, but when it does it's glorious. All that dampness makes for some lush spring flowers.

C gets home on Monday, so I'm hoping to get myself out to Wales for a week or weekend in the very, very near future.

You've revived all my fond memories of it.

Glad to be of service. I should be on a retainer for the Welsh Tourist Board.

The Gower and Pembrokeshire are even nicer (Anglesey quite flat) but too far to get to for a flying visit unfortunately.

Is thrift the name of the pink flower Viv? There were so many rashes of little flowers spreading out in the grass and on the cliffs. Very lovely. And thanks Caine. Just snaps.

It's true, Visit Wales or whatever they're called should be grateful to you; your Anglesy pics have me keen to go back soon.

Heh. What even with the great big stonking haar that meant we couldn't see the lighthouse we were standing right next to?

Anglesey was pretty but I would still favour the Llyn and Snowdonia in North Wales. There are mountains (whereas Anglesey only has views of mountains).
