You're really not meant to abuse it. As a young 'un, I put some garbage out in yellow plastic sacks left over from a show. Binmen wouldn't touch it & a city council official turned up on my doorstep wanting to know what I was doing, trying to dispose of hazardous biowaste through domestic bin collections.
Colour me nonplussed...
