I love these. They bring so much colour to the roadsides round my parents' house. We have orange ones sprouting in the 'front garden' at the moment. It's not really a garden, it's a great slab of concrete with a square hole in the middle that sprouts dock leaves, Welsh poppies and now buttercups.

Try chucking a few nasturtium seeds in there - they'll spread over a large area around the planting site & they enjoy poor soil. (If you rip off the dock leaves each time you pass it, it'll soon die.)
