I am currently a post doctoral fellow in Rhode Island doing research on fish sensory systems. Im mostly interested in fish that feed using senses other than vision and working out how these fish survive, feed and breed in complete darkness.

I am from New Zealand will be heading back there in two months when my work finished here. Then who knows........

Octopus attack!!!

This was taken as a part of my research in my PhD. It was in New Zealand. We tethered juvenile crayfish to a digital camera triggering device. When the crayfish was grabbed the camera took pics. Here is one when a crayfish is predated on by an octopus.
