Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......

.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…

Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.

Leica Virgin comes good ....

yes, we pulled it off!

we climaxed early and our interpretation of Clue A ' This Friar can always smell the hops from his statuesque position' was declared winner ... it was very silly and we were all in hysterics over the out takes, the fact that no one ended up with a black eye and I nearly had Joker's nose up my bum is only part of the story ... we now have to wait for Joker's pic of the final outcome ...

1. Sweet Smell of Success, Clue J, proved to be prophetic!

2. I am Blue Condom Woman! ... I thought I looked rather fetching in my (colour co-ordinated raingear) until people started to refer to it as a blue (and somewhat overstretched, and therefore secondhand ) condom ...

3. 'Whoar' ...Just look at the pixels on that ...

4. The winning team celebrate ... and JC1000000 explains to SFG and SWMBO just where they went wrong ...

Well done everyone! .... but especially Nige and his team ..... Winner of Best Photograph and some nifty digital cameras .... BRILLIANT!

..... will post a winners' cartoon soon, just want to wait 'til all the bloggers involved post their pics .....

..... a great day, loved meeting everyone and chatting .....

.... oh yes, and all the pics are Dave's, I managed to Shoot London without taking one single photo ...

Still giggling at the thought of yesterday.
Thank you so much Maggie for getting us all organised, you're a star!
I'll try and get our ten shots on here before I get on the boat tonight (to come back to the UK) and I'll get the hi-rez versions to you on Wednesday night when I'm back home.

SWMBO says:

Firstly Maggie, a HUGE Thank you for organising this for us, we had a brilliant time and lovely to meet everyone, sorry to those I didn't get to speak to much, where did the day go!

Secondly, Dave needs a slap, fancy snapping us all looking a lot the worse for wear after getting soaked all day and being absolutley cream crackered!

Thirdly, did JC ever work out who LEICA from Leica a Virgin was?

Fourthly, JC did you get your map out to figure out just where Staffordshire was. You did a great job of seeming to know and ruined it by saying, "where exactly is Staffordshire, is it North". But it did make us chortle.

Joker, it was a gas! .... and having seen all the pics on your blog, and this is without seeing the high res versions, I am really impressed, you are one ace photographer :)

SWMBO, lovely to meet you and to chat ... JC did make me giggle, OK, geography might not be his forte, or German cameras, but he had such an infectious laugh :)

... and thanks peeps, it was a great day, and here's to next year :)

Caine, I do always think of you and Mobloggers overseas when I post these pics .... shame that there is not a transporter that can transport you all over here in a flick of a switch ....
