Amy and Argent are headed for Massachusetts. She says his kidneys are inflamed, but that's also because he's dehydrated. She plans on doing surgery midday tomorrow (my time.) She is really hoping that he can be woken up afterwards and promises email and photo updates.

I'm hoping with every hope I own, and all things are crossed. xx

Everything's crossed! We'll be thinking of you.

Hmm. I know Amy will do every fricking thing possible, and that's the best. I hate times like this, the waiting gnaws at you. Hopefully though, you'll be able to relax, and get some sleep. xx

I feel a LOT better now that he's with her. Everything that can be done is being done for him. The worst part was the waiting, knowing that every minute was too much to be losing, and all the while I couldn't do anything save keep putting food and water into him in order to keep his liver going(Amy says she's amazed at how pink he is, and that's entirely due to my vigilance on that particular score.)

For the record she also completely agrees with how Scott handled this and thinks he did exactly everything he should have. It is frustrating that we lost a week waiting for the sonogram but she says it's standard practice to only have a tech in for that once a week. The timing was no one's fault.

Caine says:

It's tough, how that timing can work against you when you know the clock is ticking. The important thing is that you did everything right, and kept on doing it and he's now going to have the surgery he needs. I hope, I hope, I hope the news you get today is the best news. He's a tough boy, he's been hanging in through hard times, hopefully he'll sail through today like it was nothing.
