:D Is he part way through a roll or just having a kip? My cousin had a welsh poney for many years, he was a real character too and loved rolling.
Must show this to Crickson who, for some reason, believes horses and ponies can't lie down and if you see one lying on it's side it must be dead.

Oh dear, Dr C's having a bout of Bad Science. That's what comes of watching late-night animal rescue shows when he's a drink taken. ;)
Manuel's just having a scratch here but horses can only get any deep sleep if they lie down. Albeit not with all four feet in the air...

Every day on the way into Leeds Uni we'd pass a field of ponies, usually with one or two lying down, and he'd be convinced they were dead, then mysteriously moved or replaced with more ponies the next day. He was all for reporting them to the RSPCA! :)

Bless him, at least he's concerned about the little ponies' wellbeing. Even if he has got a whole new Phantasy Physiology going on... ;)
