Nige has a vast stash of Vaseline, never was sure what for, had my doubts, kept them to myself.

lensbabies are quite affordable from what i hear. might be worth a pop. if you zoom whilst taking the shot you get a similar effect, but it takes a bit of practice.

yeah i've tried that before often get a full frame blur though! :( I'll take a look at the lens babies...
