*as "besom" has a romantic quality about it that "sweeping brush" sadly lacks.

When my sister was a teacher, she kept the witch's besom from the hallowe'en display, in her classroom all year round, just to keep the naughty kids alert.

I am frankly shocked that anyone would venture abroad on t'moor minus a bicycle pump.
Good job you were there jen.

*wonders if moorland rescue teams carry a bicycle pump for just such an emergency.

Am now all prepared in case stumble across Lakeman-in-distress while out riding.

It's a wonder the poor bike gets going at all sometimes... LOL

I've already decided I may buy a puncture repair kit to give to him at perranporth/album signing. (what a seth filled month this is turning out to be!)
believe it or not, I was the only one out of my friends with a bicycle pump. I had to put up one of their wheels too.
