Hi Alfie,
I am sending this again to you as I did not get a reply from the previous
attempt.
I saw the program on BBC when you were interviewed about your new web site
http://www.stoppedclocks.com/ Not far from me is a place with a stopped
clock that may be of interest to you. It is Rothamstead Manor, near
Harpenden, which dates from the 13th century. Its present appearance dates
from the 17th century.
http://www.rothamsted.ac.uk/resources/rmlmanor/index.htm
/> It is owned by Rothamstead Research a centre for Agricultural Research
http://www.rothamsted.ac.uk/ located at
http://www.solobach.com/venues/rothamsted.html
/> Here are some picture of the rather grand building with its clock which is
unfortunately inoperative. I am copying this email to Susannah Bolton who is
head of International and Public Liaison. She may be able to shed some light
on the stopped clock and aid you in your campaign to get stopped clacks
started again!
Regards
John Talbot
