It's usually about the noise and dust but, just for tonight, it's about the light.

Do like that top pic :)

Oh yes lovely - 2 HL's on the run! :)

- it should look good when they have finished but it is not pleasant at the moment!

what a stunning, romantic and upbeat series. I love them!

OJ says:

GG? Huawei I'm not sure I understand the question.

Romance in building sites eh? Who'dve thunk it?

Tangentially, I watched the film Caramel last night. It's a perfect illustration that if you shoot the most ravaged city in a romantic light, it will look romantic. I am not comparing Liverpool to Beirut you understand.

nige says:

well said OJ! that top one is rather pretty. i like it.

i assume by the dust they're running way behind on the development then? near the bus station i'd assume?

9th Jun 2008, 22:17

OJ says:

Well the building work usually makes me moody-grumpy so you're not far off Sprocket.

Thanks Nige. That's an alleyway - School Lane which runs past the Bluecoat and has a perfect view of a Liver Bird (framed by scaffolding, natch) at the end. Not really near the bus station. In fact really on the edge of the project. It's a huge site. Not sure if it's behind - part of it has opened now but work is still going on, on the second phase.

Thanks. And a little round of applause should go to the guy in the yellow jacket, who created all that atmospheric dust in the first place.

Fantastic set, OJ!
The light looks solid.
I haven't checked the new Bluecoat yet, hope the renovation hasn't been too severe. I liked the clackety of the loose parquet floor!
