Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......

.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…

Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.

13th Jun 2008, 13:53

MaggieD says:

Thanks peeps :)
She is seriously considering doing a Phd in some aspect of analytical chemistry (something to do with street drugs, but I am not sure what exactly) .......

13th Jun 2008, 13:57

swamprose says:

congratulations all round. I think parents also should get some kind of award when their offspring graduate. or at least new shoes.

maddie can come do street drug research here, anytime she wants.

13th Jun 2008, 14:02

taniwha says:

well, a PhD is lots of fun ... really ... a good way to develop a passion. And on the back of a First she would probably have little trouble securing a studentship somewhere.

13th Jun 2008, 14:02

MaggieD says:

Thanks SR, a new pair of shoes in a must as I don't actually possess a pair at the moment (only boots and trainers).

Taniwha, the studentship she is thinking of applying for is at Canterbury (she really likes it down there and wants to stay).

Thanks SB, I think it will be Dave (unravelled) who will be getting a hat, he has always hankered after a 'Terry Pratchett' I, however have been banned from hat and frock wearing .....

13th Jun 2008, 19:37

OCD Sprocket says:

13th Jun 2008, 19:53

QSS, the romper suit haunts my dreams ...

13th Jun 2008, 20:07

13th Jun 2008, 20:14
