Thanks for starting this Nige, I was really stuck for something to do in all that spare time I've got these days.
365 days? that's a whole year, right?
OK, let's see how it goes.
For anyone reading this who's not sure what it's about;
Our good (and slightly twisted) friend Nige has thought up another cracker.
Start a new blog and post a self portrait every day for the next 12 months. That's 365 posts, one a day, every day, without fail, of the same subject. Simple? yeah, right.
These other eejits are doin'it too! Join us!

Against thieving gits that like to cut open the side of my trailer in the middle of the night. They always go for the "sheltered" side, the other side being too exposed to the road for their sniveling selves.
The hope is that they get themselves cut up by thorns and/or stung to death by nettles, to then discover there's nothing of value to them inside.

Beginning to think we should park curtain trailers full of Dibble in some of the more notorious truck stops. There seems to be so much theft that it would take no time at all to make some useful arrests...

There was a TV program losely based on that idea h.

They would have a truck pull up on the high street and the driver would go and make a delivery leaving the back door open with all the goddies (mountain bikes, DVDs PCs etc) on show.

predictably a scrote would jump in the back to grab something at which point the back doors would be shut and locked, and the side curtains opened revealing bars. The truck would then be paraded around the streets with a loud hailer announcing to everyone that the person in the back was a thief..

Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, it was only in the last few years. No doubt banned by the PC brigade for upsetting scrotes..

Can see the appeal but certainly where I live, shows like that would be far too great an enticement to vigilantism. Truly, one whiff of permission & this estate'll be driving out paedeatricians, podiatrists & pedalo-makers faster than you can say "crowd madness"...

Saw that program SirFG, brilliant, but indeed probably stopped by the "league for the protection of wasters".

They did just that H. Here in Holland it's starting to become a bit of a problem so they regulary put out decoy trailers with dozens of plod hiding round the corner and in the bushes. It has been really successful, catch a dweeb almost every time but it takes a lot of resources and they rely on the deterrent factor, you never know if one's a decoy or not. Lots of publicity helps.
