Hinhead has been a bottle neck on the A3 for years and years, slowing the traffic down in the rush hour and the home journey, during the holiday period it was horrific almost unbearable mostly all day, it is the only bottle neck on the A3 from Kingston to Portsmouth, it would be the scene of a number of bad accidents some fatal.
I would like to thank all the contractors for a job well done and to local authorities for giving the go ahead, and as a bonus it will open early (Summer 2010) thats what I call progress
