Yo. Bronxelf here. So, I came to the conclusion that I sort of liked the idea of a 365 project, but really wasn't up to taking photos of me every day.

What sounded in some ways more challenging, but in some ways more comfortable was to twist it slightly and do 365 days of my avatar on Second Life.

AK, as I think everyone knows are my initials. They're also the initials of my avatar. And my avatar is well... pretty much like me. So there you go.

Um, I don't know the first thing about CSS, so I'll uh.. get to that.

Other, more traditional, currently active or completed 365 projects include...

365 Days of Mr. Kyoob
My Defective Ear(the one that started this madness- COMPLETE!)
See Me
Slice of Life
Whose Shoes?

There's a lot of recreations of famous places in SL. But my observation
tells me that most of the time other than being fairly cool from a 3d
standpoint, I'm not sure what purpose they're serving. I think there's an
opportunity being completely missed here to create an interactive
educational experience, not specifically limited to this particular
location, but all meatspace recreations I've seen. There's a possibility
for concepts like the virtual museum combined with a sense of location- the
virtual vacation, or virtual tourism, that hasn't yet been explored.

so can you fly in SL - or have you thrown yourself off the bridge??

bronxelf, NLI says:

You can fly, though either one would be a viable theory.

OCD Sprocket says:

ooh, maybe I should give it a go then

I might make my avatar a little taller than real life though - I wonder what it would be like to see the world through the eyes of a 5' 8" giant
