babs says:

his life is one of constant worry....

and I wasn't even there !!

:p

jen says:

I decided to not take anymore once he saw me with the camera and assumed a look of fear.

babs says:

I don't know why relentlarse send those intimidating large people round with Seth to signings and such when he's got Adam.
They are totally surplus to requirements.

jen says:

I was really disappointed with the 'burlies'. They really made us go at lightening pace, and if you're easily intimadated and shy like myself then that usually headds for disaster. I didn't even get to ask him how his friends bike was....(not that I had any of the conversation planned no no not at all...)

babs says:

be spontainious, always the best way. Best person to have at your side when faced with bossy large people is Emma. Take anybody on she would. *coughs.... Regents.

His friend should have been more careful and picked a route where tyre shreddage wasn't an issue.

we must hatch a large burly person distracting plan for the next encounter.
some one could shout
"look!! pies "
and then while they dash off to find the tasty but non existant treats, we could engage Seth in conversation and witty banter.

2nd Jul 2008, 08:20

jen says:

or we could put a pile of pork pies on atable somehwere, then they would spend time eating said pies allowing people to talk to him.
Yes, I could tell emma would be good at that from Perranporth... *makes note to bring Emma along to next album signing or where burlies are present*
Me and my friends took the same bike path Babs! They were just unlucky. I am surprised that my bike survived though, the amount of tree roots and sharp rocks there were, not to mention fallen trees... and then fallen jens. :D
I'm too shy to be spontanious, my mind goes blank so it's better for me to have a planned sentence or something in my head.

2nd Jul 2008, 10:02

babs says:

sounds more like a route one would undertake in nothing less than a small tank !! (0;

ah! the open road.

you could always just jot a few notes down then refer to them every now and again.
No one would notice.
*rolly eye emo from mire.

2nd Jul 2008, 12:53

jen says:

If I wrote them in japanese then no one would know! Unless they were japanese....
which seth isn't....obviously.....
erm
right
*adjusts head*
Unfortunantely the open road is full of cars and not best to tackle on bike. We did on the previous bikeiride and my frined fell off and cracked her collar bone.
so we aren't going to attempt roads again.
oh, and the bits where stream and path merged were particularly interesting on that route! :D

2nd Jul 2008, 19:09

babs says:

*feels woefully inadequate upon thinking of own route up Baileywood Lane , across the Howden road , on towards Bursea, round the old airfield and through Rascal Moor as it's all on tarmac, but there are bits with grass in the middle and sometimes a rabbit jumps out which can be quite scary and there are some slight dips in the road and sometimes a tractor comes towards you and it is a single track road and you have to do that wobbly thing where you don't peddle and try to stay on as long as you can even though you aren't actually moving very much.

2nd Jul 2008, 20:36

jen says:

eurgh, I hate that, I always panic and nearly fall over.
they seem to be fond of the gravel technique here. I don't really like cycling on it but it does look nice.

2nd Jul 2008, 22:19

babs says:

a bit skiddy, gravel.

so, we have covered Seth's security arrangements, some of the dangers one can encounter when cycling, what's left to discuss.?
Have you noticed how it's fairly rare to see Adam in the same tshirt twice ???
I wonder if relentlarse send them a big boxful in all sorts of colours every now and again but Adam hasn't told Seth so he can keep the best ones for himself.

*thinks maybe onto something.

3rd Jul 2008, 07:25

jen says:

yeah, I realised it was the same one from perranporth when I got back and looked through my pictures. I hope he washed it.
*thinks babs may also be onto something*
Maybe if we sent a box of assorted t-shirts to pa lakeman they will make it to seth....

4th Jul 2008, 11:08

sophie says:

Ah, but pa lakeman insists you can't get to Seth through him.

Though nice packet of t-shirts might distract him. He might think "oh, bit strange, but my boy could do with some new t-shirts so I might as well pass these along..." And then we could slip in a quick note with all the intelligent questions we ought to have asked at the signings but couldn't cos our brains melted and all we could manage was "amazing...brilliant...amazing". He must have thought I was a complete gibbering imbecile.

I have lovely new mountain bike tyres which are great on gravel. Otherwise it is a bit slippy and slidey, especially when cornering. I could take us further off topic by telling you *all* about them.

If you're interested.

Which I sense that you're not.

Indra says:

Lol... Hi everybody. Just found out that I've been talking to Adam last year! Didn't know back then who the h*ll Seth was... stupid me... missed chance... could have asked HIM to set me up with Seth... will try his paps next though :P Love to all y'all, Indra

4th Jul 2008, 13:56

Indra says:

(just kidding ofcoarse)

4th Jul 2008, 19:03

Indra says:

oops, according to my friend it WASN'T Adam. He WAS there, but apparently I remembered his face better then the guy we talked to LOL...

5th Jul 2008, 06:27

jen says:

0_0
guess it could happen Indra! Ber funny if it turned out if the person you were talking was Seth... *doubts it*

I was going to ask him about the time signature in Crimson dawn. I'm sure it goes from 4/4 time to 3/4 time for the chorus, or I'm completely wrong.
we could print a question on the inside of each t-shirt....dunno why....
I'm interested in hearing about your amazing new bike tyres. Might come in handy.

6th Jul 2008, 22:06

Indra says:

No it DEFINATELY wasn't Seth, because we just missed him when he walked away... I think it was one of the sound-guys ;)
