The most annoying thing is I've been watching these turn up all day - they're all coming from different IP addresses, so it's very hard to block them.

This happened to me with my regular blog recently. Really, really annoying, and like mat says really hard to control since they are all from different IPs.

I think server software needs that kind of front-end.
