I figured, if I'm going to have a camera phone then I might as well share the pictures. So here I am sharing.

I now carry a Crackberry Pearl because my RED RAZR drowned in an unfortunate bathroom incident in NYC.

My favorite East Indian Deities

These are Vishnu (on top) and Lord Shiva (bottom
picture). These came out dark but you can see them on
the Met's website: Vishnu
and Shiva.

I also like Parvathi, but my absolute favorite is Ganesha. Couldn't find any statues of them because that section was roped off. I love the story of how Ganesha got his elephant head.

as a young child i always (and still do) like Kali Maa (she's the god in indiana jones temple of doom) it's the evil side of her that i liked, and her garland of mens heads!!
