I think the photo makes the train look warmer than it was. Spring has not officially sprung in any sense here in NYC, and it's still pretty cold outside, though not with the brutal bitterness of January or February. Still the sunlight looks warm and friendly, falling in patterns on the floor of the downtown 4 train.

I was on my way to meet Crickett for lunch.
