Last time it happened to me I ended up playing Trivial Pursuits. By the end of the game I felt completely and utterly sloshed and I hadn't had a drop to drink.

(Note: must get replacement laptop battery, could have had more than half an hour internet time if I had actually bothered to get that sorted.)

It was too dark to be able to read. Shudder. Nightmare.

When they were building the new theatre last year the contractors dug through the main power cable supplying power to the entire campus.

Everything was off; we live in the middle of nowhere: people went into town to get candles before the darkness fell...
