No, it's pretty rampant in the places it's in. But we're letting it be, outside the rabbit-secured vegatable patch. In there it's gonna get /wasted/.
That bit you see above is mostly clear of elder, but was 100% nettle the last 2 years, so we're expecting some to make a comeback, especially given that a good forking of square metre of ex-nettle area will yield around seventeen tonnes of nettle rootsystem.. Long grasses and native wildflowers have been copiously sown, and glyphosphate is on standby for any huge nettle attacks..
Sounds like you've got it covered. Based on your estimates, it sounds like nettle roots could provide a biofuel solution to the world's dependence on fossil fuels :D
