I could have lived without the wake up call. honestly. but I suppose I should go to class.

Oh, damn, it's Tuesday. Expect "Send Help" notices shortly.

26th Apr 2005, 12:44

Joe says:

obviously they don't actually make pie....

26th Apr 2005, 12:44

bronxelf says:

They might? But I wouldnt recommend it with NYC pigeons. Besides, they're really only here to feed the hawks and falcons.

26th Apr 2005, 12:45

daz says:

You have hawks and falcons in NYC? O_o

26th Apr 2005, 12:46

Joe says:

I wouldn't eat pigeon any more than I'd eat rat....they are one and the same thing...

26th Apr 2005, 12:46

daz says:

I actually call them "Flugratten" - "flying rats".

26th Apr 2005, 12:47

Joe says:

thats exactly what I call them...I may start calling them Flugratten, as that is clearly a cooler word :)

Daz -we have a LOT of hawks and quite a number of faclons. Peregrine Falcons are the Unofficially (they may actually *be* official, actually) bird of NYC. Peregrines love it here. We have pretty good living conditions here for birds of prey. Lots of very high places to roost, and an unlimited food supply.

bronxelf says:

You know what? At least the pigeons move off the sidewalk when you're walking through. They could teach lessons to tourists.

26th Apr 2005, 12:49

daz says:

Wow. I never knew that.

Joe: Just make sure you pronounce the "u" like "oo". :D

26th Apr 2005, 12:50

daz says:

NYC pigeons are very polite then. European pigeons are as obnoxious as European tourists. I've actually been attacked by pigeons in Venice once.

26th Apr 2005, 12:51

bronxelf says:

NYC pigeons will move. NYC Squirrels? They'll jump your shit, yo.

26th Apr 2005, 12:52

daz says:

Go squirrels! :D

They're WAY cuter than pigeons, too.

26th Apr 2005, 12:53
