I have these three bottles.

I've HAD these three bottles for ages. I just never did anything with them. I'm going through my guest room, which contains a lot of projects I hadn't gotten to when I went back to design school.

put energy drinks in 'em & take them to work / walks. will initiate interest of the other gender....they can't resist not knowing what's in there....

But thanks for the suggestion.

Befny says:

Paint them?

2nd Jun 2005, 04:41

bronxelf says:

Yeah. That's kinda a given. I just dont know what to do with them yet. I have a few boxes of raw stuff that I can paint/mosaic. Trying to get the guest room cleared out.

2nd Jun 2005, 04:43

befny says:

Depends I guess.

You could paint them as a whino's wet bar...three different brown bag-esque wines

You could paint them as bowling balls.

You could paint them as an antiquated map of the world, one third on each...then stand them in a coner or on a shelf as a set.

You could paint them as a pirates carry on liquor...rum, rum, and ...er ... rum?

You could paint them as poison containers

You could paint them as three connected symbols....

You know...you can do almost ANYTHING with them.

2nd Jun 2005, 04:51

Befny says:

er...not bowling balls, bowling PINS. Sorry about that.

Must sleep now. Sigh.

2nd Jun 2005, 04:52

bronxelf says:

Befny: Why *are* you up, anyway? Also, read your post. Wondering who's made *that* critical fumble... hrm. FWIW, you know how much I hate people shortening my name and how few people are allowed to get away with it. ;/

Hotdog- Yeah. This is gonna take a little thought.

2nd Jun 2005, 04:53

Befny says:

I don't KNOW why I'm up. I am going to go lie down and be awake and prone, I guess.

Yeah. It just ... annoys me. I snapped. After being called Beverly at work FOUR TIMES today...I come on line and a remote aquaintance, albeit one I do like normally, is talking about beffny. WTF.

Whatever. I am being petty. I know this. Sleep will help. G'night Belf! (*grin*)

bronxelf says:

Befny- Dont care about that. It's not my *name* you know. You kow what Im talking about. You know *exactly* what I'm talking about...

Hotdog- dunno. I think the first thing is to decide if Im going to sell them or gift them.

autumncat says:

I really like the shape of those bottles. Very cool. They look like pottery - are they actually glass?

2nd Jun 2005, 05:16

bronxelf says:

No. These are ceramic. I *do* have quite a bit of glass here as well-- I just found this box first, so Im looking to get these painted.

Really I just want to clear out the stuff in the guest room.

bronxelf says:

true, though if I was going to do that I'd be better off sending them to yourhermione for that-- she's got that sort of clay on hand.

I dont even know how much porceilaine or vitrea I have here-- a lot of what I've got is shot. Looks like I have to hit up pearl or dp,or sam flax or something.

daz says:

Paint and sculpt them in a "Three Monkeys" theme... Then, if that's still possible, fill them with three different liquors. :)

EDIT: Gotta love first associations, huh? ;)

Lyzardly says:

Craig is obsessed with that style of bottles. He will buy beverages he doesn't like, so he can dump them out and have the bottle.

Whatever you decide to do with them, I'll buy 'em from you. (If they don't already have a designated home in your mind.)

2nd Jun 2005, 12:33

yourhermione says:

I would send them to Mage to put mead in them. After painting some appropriately "40oz" themed name thing on them. ;)

2nd Jun 2005, 15:33

bronxelf says:

I could likewise send them to Ed Valette, same deal.

I dunno. Im gonna stare at em for a while yet. I still have to find my fucking sculpting tools.. there's PROJECTS to do, dammit.

Flavour some different olive oils - one with chilli, one with rosemary and one perhaps with raspberry and whitewine vinegar... yum!
