by them selves. But I think I coulda sweetened 3 cups of tea with them.
Those are Kipling ones. I've had M&S; ones which were much nicer and didn't taste like they each had a pound of sugar in them.
I always liked the look of them as a kid, but then was disappointed.
I must be all wrong. What small girl child doesn't like pink cakes?
I haven't had a fondant fancy in YEARS. I have this amazing memory form some childhood birthday party where the birthday cake was a ginormous fondant fancy, banana flavoured. I remember it as the best cake I'd ever had.
...memories.
Our blogs are turning into food columns :-)
Always liked the look of these but never liked fondant icing unfortunately ....
now Battenburg cake is a different story, all this talk of kids parties has reminded me how much i loved it...mmmmm marzipan!!
OKay now comes the need for battenburg cakes. I shall have to pick one up on my way home now.
Mmmmm...marzipan.
i have, in the distant past, been known to buy a block of marzipan from the 'cooking section' and just hack a chunk off when i wanted a sugar fix!
...ah, the good ole bad ole days ... :)
Or me and Kiku could stop blogging food all the time. But I don't see that happening :o)
Nope. never happen.
i love a french fancy here and there and just about everywhere you can possibly imagine lol :p
