I made a film. It's very short, and it's not what you might call narrative-based - doesn't even have any dialogue.

You can downloaderify it here [16MB .mov], and check out the release notes over at my weblog.

In particular, I should point out that audio and video are free to share, remix and mashup under a Creative Commons non-commercial sampling plus licence: the music I've used is also made available in that way, so it requires me to play by the same rules. Share and enjoy!

I left it running over night and got it all -- that doesn't usually work (ok I did have to reload it.)

Lovely. I really like the solid stillness of the scenes, with that slight movement on top, like moving photographs. Beautiful lighting and moods. You've mixed the natural sounds nicely into it, I can hear birds. Recognised a fair few of the scenes. Very pretty.

Shove it into one of the YSP galleries, if they won't take it, sneak it in... or construct a big sculpture box to contain it.

Dowloaded it overnight? I got it all in about 20 seconds. Aah, uni connections are nice. :)
(I'll watch it when I get home though..)

It probably took two hours *weeps*.

But then I didn't need the bandwith for anything else at the time.

Apologies to the bandwidth-bereft, but quality costs megabytes!

It hadn't really occured to me to pop a copy through the Sculpture Park's letterbox... [ ponders ]

Helen says:

It hadn't? Go for it!

(Now if I could only take my own advice when it comes to matters like this.)
