Ooooh, just to change the subject slightly, Tim would you recommend the O2 XDA IIs? I'm thinking of getting the XDA III, mainly becuase of the addition of wifi, but was wondering what Windows Mobile is like?

Tim says:

Yep. I had an XDA2i for a while (four of 'em!) and they are really unreliable, PLUS the camera is a1.3 megapixel version but it takes appaling images. I changed it for an XDA2s in the end, WiFi built in and all that PLUS the camera is far better but lower res - works fine for here though. As for XDA3 do you mean one XDA2i/2s/mini or the forthcoming keyboard thingy that's not out yet...

Tim says:

Yep. I had one of those and swapped it for the XDA2s. Crashed loads, Bluetooth was unstable, camera is unusable however the wi-fi was ace!

I would go for the XDA2s anyday... or at least until there's a software update or something.

Cheers matey. Does the XDA2s have wifi?

16th Jun 2005, 18:53

Tim says:

Yep. The aerial isn't as strong as the XDA2i and the camera is lower res (640x480) but the video is ace and the slide out light up blue keyboard is kinda coool too.
